Wax-Thermostats
Wax-type elements permit that the heat energy will be transformed into mechanical energy. The wax, enclosed in a case which is dimensionally stable and resistant to pressure, increases its volume by means of becoming when the temperature goes up. The wax is tightly closed it is case by means of a rubber diaphragm. This rubber diaphragm does also have the task to transfer the pressure of the wax on the piston of the element. This movement is sufficient even when the temperature change is only little. The wax element is insensitive-element for temperature regulators which have to do its work in a reliable manner even under rough conditions.
